initial design and continues
throughout the manufacturing operations to include our final and customer's acceptance.
The optical-mechanical
housings and components are
specifically designed to conform to the customer's
requirements. Quality controls are applied to verify the manufactured products
meet or exceed these requirements in the following way.
Planned inspection points during the precision
machining operations are established where inspections and tests are performed at timely intervals, throughout the manufacturing
operations. The manufactured components are only
accepted when they are verified to be within their designed
tolerances. Finished components are carefully cleaned
and stored in preparation for the final assembly operations.
Inspection
reports are prepared to log-in measured values for quality control and
customer review. This data is also used for optimizing each of the
optical component to their designed location and to achieve the required
peak performance when used in sub-assemblies and optical systems. If
